Let's Not ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Let's Not mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect
Information You Provide
• Phone Number: Used to create your account and verify your identity via SMS
• Contact Information: Phone numbers of contacts you select when creating a wish (to enable matching)

Information Collected Automatically
• Device Tokens: For sending push notifications about matches
• Crash Reports: Error and crash data is collected via Sentry to help us identify and fix bugs. This may include device type, OS version, and app state at the time of an error. No personal content is included.

How We Use Your Information
• Account Verification: Your phone number verifies your identity
• Matching: Contact phone numbers are used solely to determine if both parties want to cancel plans
• Notifications: Push notifications inform you when a match occurs
• Service Operation: To provide, maintain, and improve the app

How Matching Works
When you create a wish, we store your contact's phone number(s) temporarily. A match only occurs if:
1. Both parties have the app
2. Both parties create wishes about each other
3. Both wishes are for the same day

If only one person creates a wish, the other person is never contacted or notified. Your wish expires silently.

Data Retention
• Wishes: Automatically deleted 24 hours after the planned event time
• Account Data: Retained while your account is active; deleted upon request
• Contact Phone Numbers: Stored only within wishes; deleted when wishes expire

Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
• With service providers (AWS) to operate the app
• With Sentry for crash reporting and error monitoring
• If required by law

Your Rights
You may:
• Access your data by viewing your wishes in the app
• Delete individual wishes by swiping to delete
• Delete your account and all associated data from Settings within the app
• Opt out of push notifications via device settings

California residents have additional rights under CCPA. EU residents have additional rights under GDPR. Contact us to exercise these rights.

Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit and at rest. Phone numbers are stored securely in AWS with automatic expiration.

Children's Privacy
Let's Not is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy and will notify you via the app or email.
